A Los Angeles native, Holly grew up performing professionally (including lending her voice to the character of Lin in the anime cult-classic Fist of the North Star!), something she successfully cajoled her reluctant mom to let her do. Her passion for theater deepened in middle and high school, which inspired her to minor in theater at Indiana University, and go on to study at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London and the Groundlings, among others.
During a temporary (but long) break-up with acting, Holly turned her attention to the holistic health and wellness field, becoming certified as a Reiki Master, personal trainer and fitness instructor, and natural health & homeopathic practitioner, opening a healing practice called Couture for the Soul in Santa Monica, CA. Returning to the stage in 2014, she performs regularly in theater all around Los Angeles, including award-winning performances in Write Me A Murder (T.P 2018/9 Lead Actress, Broadway World Lead Actress Nominee), and Don’t Dress For Dinner (T.P Lead Actress 2013/4).
As a writer, her work can be found across the internet on sites such as Mayo Clinic, Huffington Post, Los Angeles Times, and STAGE, a wellness and style site for women with breast cancer, and as a playwright, her one-act plays have been produced throughout Southern California and a virtually.
Passionate about health advocacy, Holly shares her personal experience as a cancer survivor and carrier of the BRCA1 mutation, speaking and writing about navigating such a journey to empower women, raise awareness, and raise funds for cancer research and patient support programs, partnering with organizations such as Cancer Support Community Pasadena. She also leads writing workshops for those touched by cancer and mentors women going through every stage of their breast cancer journeys.
